Paper accepted in Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research

SynchroThe paper entitled “Monitoring internal load parameters during competitive synchronized swimming duet routines in elite athletes”, authored by Lara Rodríguez Zamora, Xavier Iglesias, Anna Barrero, Lorena Torres, Diego Chaverri & Ferran A. Rodríguez, has been published in JSCR (IF 1.9). This paper derives from the second study within the SYNCHRO Project. The paper compare the heart rate (HR) and rate of perceived exertion (RPE) responses as internal load indicators while performing duet routines during training and competition, both in the technical and free programs of synchronized swimming (SS). Ten SS Olympic medalists, from the Spanish National team participated in the study. L’article titulat “Monitoring internal load parameters during competitive synchronized swimming duet routines in elite athletes”,  dels autors Lara Rodríguez Zamora, Xavier Iglesias, Anna Barrero, Lorena Torres, Diego Chaverri  i Ferran A. Rodríguez, ha estat publicat a la revista  JSCR (Factor d’Impacte 1.9). Aquest article deriva del projecte SYNCHRO Project. L’estudi compara la resposta cardiovascular (HR) i la percepció d’esforç com a paràmetres indicadors de la càrrega interna en situació real de competició i durant una sessió d’entrenament. 10 nedadores de l’equip nacional espanyol, van participar en l’estudi.
